Terms and Conditions (T&Cs)
1. Provider and Scope
These Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) apply to all transactions with:

(hereinafter “Provider”)
The offer is aimed at private and business customers in Switzerland and abroad.
2. Offer and Conclusion of Contract
The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer.
By placing an order, the customer makes a binding offer.
The contract is concluded through:
• the order confirmation by email or
• the provision or dispatch of the voucher
3. Prices and Payment
All prices are quoted in Swiss Francs (CHF).
• VAT: Vouchers are not subject to VAT
• The price at the time of ordering is decisive
Payment options:
• Credit card / Debit card
• TWINT
• Invoice (for business customers or by agreement)
• Payment processing via Datatrans
For payments in foreign currencies, the conversion is carried out by the respective payment provider at the current exchange rate.
The provider reserves the right to restrict payment methods.
4. Vouchers
4.1 General
The Swiss Book Voucher is a voucher that can be redeemed in over 400 bookshops in Switzerland as well as in selected online shops.
4.2 Validity
Vouchers are valid for 5 years from the date of issue.
4.3 Transferability
Vouchers are freely transferable.
4.4 Cash redemption
Cash redemption is not permitted.
4.5 Loss / Theft
Vouchers and voucher codes must be treated as cash.
In the event of loss, theft or misuse, there is no entitlement to a replacement.
4.6 Redemption
Vouchers may be redeemed at participating partner bookshops and online shops in accordance with their terms and conditions.
• Partial payments are possible (Bücherbon cards, Print@Home Bücherbon); any remaining balance is retained
• Combination with other payment methods is possible
• In the event of returns, a refund will be issued in accordance with the terms and conditions of the respective bookshop or online shop
The contract of sale for goods or services is concluded exclusively between the customer and the respective bookshop or online shop.
The provider accepts no liability for the services provided by partners.
5. Delivery
5.1 Digital vouchers (Print@Home / email)
• Delivery by email
• Usually within a few minutes of receipt of payment
• The voucher is deemed to have been delivered as soon as it is accessible in the customer’s email system
The customer is responsible for:
• providing the correct email address
• checking spam folders
There is no entitlement to a replacement in the event of an incorrectly provided email address.
5.2 Physical vouchers
• Postal delivery within Switzerland
• Delivery time: usually 2–5 working days
• Postage costs: [insert]
The provider is not liable for delays caused by delivery via Swiss Post or other postal service providers.
6. Right of withdrawal / Returns
The right of withdrawal or return is excluded.
In particular, there is no entitlement to a refund:
• for digital vouchers once they have been made available
• for physical vouchers that have already been dispatched
• for personalised orders
7. Use and technical availability
The provider makes the online shop and digital services available with due care, but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
8. Liability
The provider is liable only for damages resulting from intentional or grossly negligent breaches of duty.
Liability for:
• indirect damages
• consequential damages
• loss of profit
is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
9. Data Protection
The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with the separate privacy policy.
In particular, the following systems are used:
• Payment processing via Datatrans
• Hosting via Homm Interactive GmbH
• CRM via Craft CMS
• Delivery via Swiss Post
10. Amendments to the Terms and Conditions
The Provider may amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
The version valid at the time of the order shall apply.
11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
Swiss law shall apply exclusively.
The place of jurisdiction is the provider’s registered office, provided that no mandatory legal provisions preclude this.
12. Business customers (B2B)
Individual agreements may apply to business customers, in particular:
• Ordering on account
• Quotas for employees
• Monthly collective billing
• Personalised vouchers (e.g. with logo or message)
13. Technical and organisational framework
The Provider works with external service providers for operations and processing, in particular:
• Payment providers
• Hosting providers
• Delivery service providers
The Provider accepts no liability for the services of these third-party providers, to the extent permitted by law.
14. Misuse and unauthorised use
The provider reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders or transactions, in particular in the event of:
• suspected misuse or fraud
• unusually large order quantities
• automated orders (e.g. via bots)
• resale for commercial purposes without consent
Vouchers must not be used for illegal purposes.
15. Content and personalisation (B2B / customisation)
In the case of personalised vouchers, the customer is responsible for:
• the legal admissibility of the content provided (e.g. logos, text)
• compliance with copyright, trademark and personality rights
The provider accepts no liability for content supplied.
16. System availability
The provider aims to ensure high availability of the online shop, but does not guarantee uninterrupted use.
Guideline (non-binding):
• Target availability: 98% annual average
• Maintenance windows may lead to temporary interruptions
Separate service level agreements (SLAs) can be arranged for business customers on request.
In the event of discrepancies in the translation, the German version of the Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
